I.S.P.'s mission is to develop and deploy new computer technologies for the artificial intelligence industry in the 2000's. We will achieve these tasks through providing information and education of new evolving technologies in the A.I. industry of today and in the future.
We offer one-week training seminars on Expert System Principles and Programming. The course's theoretical and practical orientation allows the student to immediately take on any reasonably sized Expert System project. Classes emphasize techniques, syntax, and a depth that is not covered in a general education class.
About ISP Instructor's
Dr. Joseph Giarratano is a member of the faculty in the Computer Science Dept. at the University of Houston, Clear Lake. He is the distinguished author of "Expert Systems Principles and Programming," a book he co-authored with Gary Riley (CLIPS developer, NASA JSC). Dr. Joseph Giarratano also has many years of research experience with NASA and is responsible for developing the CLIPS user guides.
Ms. Cynthia Rathjen posseses a Master's of Science in Computer Science. She previously worked for a NASA contractor in the Houston area. Ms. Rathjen has designed and created course materials for Expert System classes. She has gained lots of experience programming, testing, and debugging CLIPS. However, her main focus is on teaching A.I. classes, an area in which her experience is of great magnitude.
